During the life of any given site there are several stages of profitability and traffic that will affect the sales and longevity of the site. It would stand to reason that the first 6 months upon a new site from a developer that controls a network of sites would be the most profitable period to become involved in as an affiliate partnership.

The larger the network, the more advantageous it would then be to an affiliate who decided to promote that network. This is mainly due to the fact that there would be more sales outlets within that network for the surfer that the affiliate sends. By the law of statistics the surfer would have a higher chance of purchasing a product within this network rather than smaller network offering similar content.

The sponsor or in the case of Somavision LLC., the IP developer, would then realistically spend the greatest amount of purchased and sent network traffic to the newest IP and then allow the traffic to cascade down naturally within the other offerings of the network. It’s at this point where the new site will receive the highest percentage of unregulated traffic that can be monetized in other forms than direct sales, namely leveraging traffic.

In this circumstance the situation would benefit both the site developer and the affiliate. The client would benefit because he would have more exposure at no additional operational costs (other than bandwidth) and the affiliate would benefit from utilizing a vast network of sales points to appeal the consumer. The affiliate would also incur little risk to their business because a large part of that sent traffic could be recaptured through pre-determined locations such as scripted trader lists or top lists.
