For example, if I'm in California and I sign up when I'm in California with my credit card with my California billing address and then I try to access the site when I'm on vacation in New York or Canada... would that automatically block my username/password ?
What if I subscribed in San Francisco but wanted to access it from Los Angeles? What if I shared my password with my friend in Florida? |

Once the credit card has cleared, the processor doesn't offer any protection - you're on your own there.
I looked into some password protection software a while ago and if I recall you can set it to have certain number of times a password can be entered in a 24hour period before it will suspend it, or if the same password is entered simultainiously from two locations it will also suspend it.
I don't think location is an issue. What if you have a travelling salesman who just loves your site for a little relaxation before bed?
I just check my server stats at the end of the day to see if there is anything fishy looking. |

I suspect you can configure this (location bound accounts). When enabled then you can likely also configure how many peeps from around the world may use the same account.

If you and your friends don't go on the site at the same time it shouldn't be a problem. Although this isn't a guarantee that your account won't be blocked.
It's actually quite hard to answer your question without knowing the used protection software and the way it is configured. |
