As most know I am still a newbie in this, and I am using Zend on my servers due to some software needs.
At first was going to go with Arrow Trader but decided to use Smart Traffic Trader on all of my sites, but it never seemed to work right, could not get the trades to grow, and information seems to have a lag. Then one day their main site went down, and all of mine did as well since their script could not be loaded for giving a lower skim.
Then I went to Sloth and it was more stable, but was getting tens of megabytes of errors in the server log files, and it never seemed to work right either. Plus the interface design sucks in my humble opinion.
Then I tried epower trader, but that was just a mess in that with zend it must cache the index.php page that brings in your main index.php page for your site. So I could change the main index file, but the changed would not show up in the site. So there must be a zend/epower trader.
So finally I ended up with the Arrow Trader III Lite script. which was the first one I considered actually, and it is working very well, finally things seem to be working right, and since it is CGI it is not influenced by Zend in any way.
So if you are a newbie, save your time, and check out free version of Arrow Trader until you can afford a commercial script. If I had gone with my gut feeling a few month's ago, I think my sites would be much further along. |

i try arrow and is and excellent script same as epower , cjoverkill , ttt , smart trade , fet , proton and so on ,
I ended up using Smart Traffic Trader due to the compatability of my servers software plataform formula.
What i discover is that some script/software works with some host and some does not.
All the Trade Scripts Descrive above are Excellent.
1 Thing after i finish installing CJOverkill in 45 of my tgps i was advise directly from comusthumbs that was a stolen script/modify so i remove it from my tgps.
I just dont need the drama of some people calling me a cheater and getting band from trades due to this problem so at this time i am using stt in all my sites and some i need to upgrade.
Do CJoverkill is a Good Script Also if there is no other choise.
My respect for Comusthumbs Jimsoft and Aniva.
thank you Guys for the info

I agree xwild, I also installed CJ Overkill and I had no idea there was any kind of potential theft there. So like you I opted out for the safe way and got rid of it, but I will say it worked nice and I liked it the way it was.
I think all of the scripts are good, but I will say that already I am the happiest with the Arrow Trader, but again, it has only been a few days. However I was impressed in how I was able to leap from from one to the other and not only did I not lose any traffic, but my site was up 20% for the day.
Note: When installing a new script, try what I did. I put the include at the top of the page for a while and ran both incoming, so the they new script would know who to return to etc. And then after it runs for 30 minutes, you take the other one out, and things went perfectly. |

Oh I think the epower trader is a terrific product, I guess the question here is Zend, and maybe on some OS's the Zend and it is not working for me anyway.
I am in communication with them because I am curious about the issue, but with Arrow Trader my main site has tripled in three days as well.
I am just saying that for me as a newbie the arrow trader cgi product was quick and easy. |

Arrow is a great script, coded in C.
It can be hard to install the first time, but after that you can set it up in a flash. The other nice thing about arrow is that you can upgrade to a full version at any time.
Cheers,

I originally has STT in all my sites, but again it seems laggy when I was using it with Zend optimizer. I think that basically any time you have a compiled script that it is easy to get a page that is not recompiled when it should be. STT requires zend, but again maybe the programmer has not checked new versions of zend, it just adds one more level of things that can go wrong.
On, the slim or Arrow, wee I assumed it was 1% or 2%, but I don't see any skim there mentioned on their website. Maybe the just let people use the older versions as free versions, got me.
I see you are a Canadian like I am..... BTW |
