Hello everyone:

I am totally new in the game. I just started about a couple of weeks ago. In any case, I've done a good deal of reading and the one conclusion that I have made is that I need to start out completely free because I am going to be making a lot of mistakes. There is a great deal to know.

I was hoping someone could recommend a good free host. I've looked at Nobsxxxhost.com, Pornhost.com, etc. They all seem to say the same things. I need one that will work with Comus Thumbs, Smart Thumbs & TGPX. I want to learn and I figure free hosting is the way to do it. However, I don't want to get screwed. Any help on that will do.

I narrowed my search of rotation scripts to Comus Thumbs, Smart Thumbs & TGPX because they seem to be the ones people are talking about the most. I will also try there free programs so that I could learn. I believe the learning curve with these programs are steep. I figure I could afford 1.5 - 2% traffic skim and I will put it toward my education. Are these good scripts. I am tempted to buy the Comus Script, but I need more input.

Also, these scripts seems to be priced by the domain. However, when I read the submitter program reviews, such as Chameleon submitter and Russian submitter, I see that they submit to multiple affiliate sites with 3 affiliates per page. Am I understanding this right, basically you host one site (domain name) with many copies of itself with the appropriate affiliate links, as subdomains of this domain?

As for traffic scripts, I thought about TTT (Turbo Traffic) or Epowertraffic (which has now joined with comus). I'm a little confused about what are the best traffic scripts. Also, need to know where in the template to install the scripts. All will be free so I assume there will be some skimming there as well.

I already mentioned the submitters I was thinking of using, Chameleon or Russian submitters. Don't know which is the better of the two or if there are better ones in out there that I don't know about. I am really serious about learning this so I just need a point in the right direction.

Lastly, where could I get some free templates. I suppose I could make them with my web editor (Kompozer), but I was hoping that there was something more tailored to the industry. I know I am asking a lot, but any help will do. Thanks.

The first thing you should do is pick a niche. One that you have interest in.

Find sites in that niche.

See how they are run, what scripts they use and so on.

This is not an easy game to play and although you will get some help along the way, it's 99.9% self education.

Good luck and don't turn into a douche bag who installs scumware for 25 cents a pop.

It seems that I have a lot of reading to do. I have picked a couple of Niches, and I have checked out other sites, but I still don't know what the better scripts are. I guess it will be trial and error.

Nice to see you in our game I woud recommend to choose a small niche where you may try the things out. Sometimes sponsor you choose may give you a things you need like hosts and scripts. Good luck
